If luxury and romance are on your wedding wish list, check out this Cambridgeshire venue. You’re sure to be impressed from the moment you arrive down the winding driveway and catch your first sight of the Jacobean manor house and immaculate grounds. With 10 acres to explore, there are plenty of picture-perfect spots for romantic photos. Step inside and be prepared for more stop-stare moments. The interior oozes style with luxury furnishings, bright colours, patterns, textures and antiques to complement the house. Set within a mile of the heart of historic Ely, with 16 individually designed bedrooms and views of the city’s cathedral, it’s an idyllic big-day retreat.

Celebrate in style
In spring and summertime, ceremonies are held in the ornate outdoor pavilion overlooking the lakes and gardens, while in the autumn and winter, the grand Orangery provides a magical setting with its oak beams, floor-to-ceiling glass panels and wood burner. Both can seat up to 165 people.

There’s a choice of versatile spaces for after the ceremony, including a bar adjoining the Orangery and terraces and the topiary courtyard with fountains and outdoor seating, not to mention a personalised gin and cocktail bar.

The permanent marquee is the perfect place to party with chandeliers, a bar and a private terrace. The black and white dancefloor adjoining the marquee is a standout feature and is kept hidden to wow your guests when it’s time for the first dance. With star lights on the ceiling and a large stage, you and your loved ones can celebrate in style.

We love...
The complimentary honeymoon suite is complete with a four-poster bed, a bathroom with a roll-top bath and a walk-in shower.
