The Orwell Hotel is situated in the centre of Felixstowe beside the beauty of the Suffolk coast and countryside. Built in 1898, The Orwell Hotel boasts the grandeur of a Victorian building, and creates a stunning backdrop for those once in a lifetime photographs.

With high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and oak-wood panelling, the interior provides a charming canvas for couples to add a personal touch to their day.

In the warm seasons, the sun shines through the windows of the Garden Walk and when opening the double doors to the gardens, it becomes a delightful space for drinks receptions and celebrating with friends and family.

Celebrate in style
Ceremonies can take place in the Furneaux Suite; a hidden gem within the hotel, it’s the perfect space for up to 30 guests and provides an intimate but beautiful ceremony room.

The Library provides a slightly larger ceremony room for up to 60 guests and comprises of dazzling chandeliers, a splendid piano and a backdrop of glass.

The Elizabeth Suite oozes romance, with the option to have up to 275 loved ones at the ceremony, it boasts a contemporary design and bright, pastel colour scheme.
