Introducing The Woodyard, a new wedding venue at Worstead Estate in the heart of North Norfolk.
The former sawmill has been beautifully restored to reflect its long history and retain the original charm of the Georgian buildings. Set in a stunning location, complete with a lake, walled garden and glorious scenery, it's available to book with exclusive use across three days for a magical celebration to remember.
The Woodyard is made up of a thatched barn surrounded by outbuildings. The Mulberry Room, which once housed the original sawmill, is now a light and airy blank-canvas space to make your own. A charming spot for the ceremony or wedding breakfast, each room can be used in different ways.
The newly restored Summerhouse and Lake Island provide an al-fresco setting for romantic 'I dos', you can even make your grand arrival by rowing boat. If the weather's bad, there's no need to worry, the Thatched Barn with its vaulted ceiling, exposed brick walls and striking chandeliers provides a welcoming retreat so you won't need to venture outside.
With beautiful historic grounds, the Walled garden and the West Lawn, there's plenty of amazing photo opportunities and idyllic spots for outdoor ceremonies. There's accommodation available too, with four renovated period buildings to stay in, including a grand, eight-bedroom Grade ll listed property with three acres of private grounds and an orangery, which is also licensed for intimate ceremonies.
