Norfolk-based Softley Events is offering two days of its luxury wedding planning services free of charge to two separate frontline workers who've had to postpone their big day in Norfolk or Suffolk due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Owner Sarah Softley says, "We've seen first hand the disappointment and distress that postponing or rearranging a wedding during the COVID-19 outbreak can cause and we've also seen so many people working tirelessly to keep us all safe and well. We are in awe of all the crucial NHS staff, posties, refuse collectors, delivery drivers and other frontline workers and would like to give something back."
"We'd like to offer up to two days of our luxury planning and support services free to two frontline workers who are each having to rearrange their Norfolk or Suffolk wedding. Whether it's taking over the rearranging emails and phone calls so they can work, or sourcing a completely new venue and suppliers, we'd like to help."
The company is asking people to nominate a frontline worker on the Softley Events Facebook page and they will select two at random to receive their services, free of charge. Just 'LIKE' their page, 'LIKE' the post and 'TAG' your nominated person in the comments with a brief explanation as to why they're being put forward. Nominations close midnight Sunday 5th April, 2020, T&Cs apply.
