Celebrate World Sleep Day at Riverhills Health Club & Spa

A woman relaxing

To mark World Sleep Day on Friday 13 March 2026, Riverhills Health Club & Spa is inviting guests to take part in its Invest in You Workshop: How to Awaken Refreshed. A flexible wellbeing experience that can be enjoyed as a standalone expert-led workshop or enhanced into a longer day of relaxation with optional lunch, spa treatments, and full use of the spa facilities.

Aligned with the World Sleep Day 2026 theme, ‘Sleep Well, Live Better’, the workshop supports the global initiative to elevate conversations around sleep health and its impact on everyday life. Led by Kate Pigeon-Owen, CEO and Wellbeing Consultant at Wellbeing International, the two-hour session offers a deep dive into the science and experience of sleep, exploring how and why sleep patterns change throughout life and how small, practical adjustments can lead to more restorative, refreshing sleep.

Guests will arrive from 9.30am and begin with a two-hour interactive workshop designed to inform, inspire, and empower. Following the session, those choosing to extend their visit can enjoy a two-course lunch in Riverhills’ stylish restaurant, book a 30- or 60-minute spa treatment, and unwind with full access to the luxury spa facilities. These include a 16-metre swimming pool, hydrotherapy and vitality pools, Fire & Ice suite with Himalayan salt sauna, aroma steam room, volcano sauna and Snow Sky, heated loungers, monsoon showers, and indulgent foot spas.

Kate Pigeon-Owen, CEO & Wellbeing Consultant, Wellbeing International comments, “World Sleep Day is a powerful opportunity to shine a light on sleep health. This workshop helps people understand what’s happening in their bodies as sleep patterns shift, and shows how small, achievable changes can make a meaningful difference to how refreshed and restored they feel each morning.”

By combining expert insight with the opportunity to relax and reset, Riverhills’ World Sleep Day workshop reflects the global message of Sleep Well, Live Better; supporting guests to prioritise sleep as a cornerstone of long-term wellbeing.
