Everything's shaping up nicely at Woodbridge-based wedding venue Ufford Park Woodbridge Hotel, Golf & Spa.

Built in 1992, the Suffolk venue has been transformed over the past 27 years and provides a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings. The hotel has recently undergone major refurbishment giving it a fresh modern feel. Now the gym has a new look too as part of the continuing programme of improvements.

The 40-station, air-conditioned gym and pool area have been given a makeover in keeping with the 'look and feel' of other revamped areas of the hotel.

As well as a new look, the Ufford Park gym also has a new health club manager Hattie Clarke. Commenting on the gym refurbishment Ufford Park's general manager for spa and health club Simon Thadani said, "We're so pleased with the changes; the gym is now a more stylish and inspiring work-out space which we will continue to upgrade over the coming months."

Nestled among trees and landscaped gardens, the hotel is located two miles north of the historic market town of Woodbridge, surrounded by beautiful Suffolk countryside.

The lush landscape provides breathtaking views and a wealth of great photo opportunities. Ideal for weddings large or small, there's a choice of three different ceremony spaces.

The Deben Suite is the biggest, with high ceilings, a private bar and two balconies overlooking the golf course. You can tie the knot here and celebrate afterwards with a reception for up to 250 loved ones. For those planning a more intimate celebration, the Waveney Room is ideal. It has its own private bar and dancefloor and can accommodate 55 ceremony guests and up to 100 for the evening do. And if it's a relaxed and cosy feel you're after, the hotel offers that too.

The Huntly Restaurant has intricately carved wood panelling and a lovely warm atmosphere; ideal for an intimate reception. What's more you can use the hotel's leisure facilities plus there's discounted rates for golf, spa and guest accommodation too.
