Kimberley was built in 1712 and set in private parkland in the River Tiffey Valley designed by the nation’s most famous landscape architect, Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. The house offers breathtaking views of a 20-acre lake and ancient oaks and is ideally located in Norfolk and for those coming by road and rail from further afield. Its distinctive classical red brick façade, curved colonnades, wings, architectural features and combination of traditional and contemporary elegance give it unique character both inside and out.

Whether you’re planning a large-scale wedding or an intimate celebration, you will benefit from the expertise of Kimberley’s in-house team of wedding planners and delicious food and wine options to suit all budgets, flexible packages, and ample accommodation for up to 50 guests in the main house and estate cottages (including a newly refurbished wheelchair-accessible gatehouse). Additional accommodation can be arranged for your guests in furnished bell tents set up in the walled gardens. The beautifully-decorated bridal suite features a four-poster bed, a magnificent Drummonds double shower, and a raised bath with spectacular views of the lake and idyllic parkland.

The Music Room offers a light and elegant space for your ceremony, with its large arched window and exquisite plasterwork. It connects to the terraced garden via a spiral staircase capped with a coffered dome. The garden can also be reached through a pretty hexagonal room that links to the stylish West Wing entertainment space with its illuminated bar, upstairs lounge, festive lighting, lasers and giant mirror ball. Alternatively, your ceremony can take place in the terraced garden facing the lake.

Multiple options are available for your reception, both indoors – making use of Kimberley’s variety of sequential rooms (perfect for all-season gatherings). If your wedding party exceeds the maximum capacity of the West Wing, Kimberley’s elegant Stretch Tent can be hired to take advantage of the extensive views.

New for 2026 is Kimberley’s underground nightclub complete with vaulted ceilings and a late licence extending past midnight to enable your guests to dance the night away in style.
