The Pantry Bridalwear has relocated to Cambridge city centre

From showstopping separates to head-turning accessories, British brand The Pantry Bridalwear is doing things differently. First opening in the leafy town of Saffron Walden in 2019, its new home, as of September 2022, is in Cambridge city centre. Founded by Eloise Rigby, also the force behind The Pantry Underwear, the store stocks a modern edit of British designers such as Rita Colson and Bon Bridé. However, excitingly, The Pantry Bridalwear has unveiled its first-ever own label collection aiming to help the contemporary bride make a statement on her wedding day. The 31-piece Originals collection features items such as jackets, skirts, tops and dresses as well as a range of accessories that are created from the waste fabric produced during the making of the main collection items. Brides will be able to browse designs featuring fabrics such as silk, organza and honeycomb waffle, with added details such as raw hems and pockets.

Discussing the collection, founder and designer Eloise says, "I wanted to create a collection with the purpose of helping brides to feel like themselves on their day by offering a modern take on bridalwear which will truly reflect and elevate their existing personal style.

"We've deliberately explored original texture and silhouettes to bring a refreshing twist to the bridal industry. You'll also find items that can be added or removed with the choice of complementing accessories such as our oversized hair bows and waffle belts. Each piece in the collection is lovingly designed and manufactured responsibly here in the UK; each garment is unique as it's made to measure ensuring minimal wastage. This very much echoes our ethos of 'do you on your day'."
