If you're on the hunt for a grand old house in the country for your wedding day, look no further. Thurning Hall is a beautiful 18th-century Georgian mansion, a privately owned family home full of warmth and original character, set in more than 30 acres of grounds. Think classical elegance meets boho spirit, with an eclectic mix of nooks and crannies and elegant spaces brimming with history.

Outside discover a magical mix of wonderfully whimsical and romantic informal secret walled rose gardens, woodland and grass parkland leading to a small lake; a treasure trove of great photo opportunities. With two Victorian walled gardens as well, the first provides an idyllic setting for al fresco ceremonies, while the second and largest is ideal for creative marquee receptions. Inside the historic house, the period interior includes three large authentic reception rooms with the dual-aspect, south-facing Drawing Room at the heart offering a breathtaking space for your 'I dos' watched by up to 50 guests. Post-vows you can exit in style through the original French doors overlooking the wide open Norfolk landscape.
Receptions are held outside in the glorious gardens, in a marquee, stretch tent or tipi with anything from 120 to 200 loved ones. The dry-hire policy means you can create your own wedding wonderland and style your celebration, your way for a truly one-of-a-kind affair; the only limit is your imagination.

We love... the ever-changing seasonal gardens and Gothic period features for stunning big-day photos.
