Isaacs on the Quay, Suffolk

Isaacs on the Quay is a wedding venue full of character and charm with a wealth of original, historical features throughout. As well as exposed beams and vaulted ceilings, there are fascinating artefacts on display from the building's long and industrious past. A former wool merchants home and business it has been lovingly restored and some of the oldest sections of the Grade I and Grade II* listed building are thought to date back to between 1430 and 1550. Situated on the Ipswich waterfront, with picture-perfect views of the boats on the marina, it now provides a magical location for weddings. The ceremony room, formally known as the Sale Room, boasts magnificent exposed timber beams, a vaulted ceiling, beautiful décor and atmospheric lighting. A romantic setting for your 'I dos', it can accommodate up to 74 guests and there's a range of great spaces to celebrate afterwards.

Cley Windmill, Cley-next-the-Sea, Norfolk

Enjoy a romantic big day at this magical wedding venue location. Cley Windmill is a local landmark on the north Norfolk coast, surrounded by reeds and marshland with the sea in the distance, it's an idyllic setting for those in search of an original venue with bags of charm. You can take over the whole place for your big day, tie the knot in the cosy candlelit dining room with up to 25 of your nearest and dearest and celebrate afterwards with an intimate wedding breakfast. Full of character, the round, beamed sitting room at the bottom of the tower provides a welcoming space, complete with a roaring open fire in the winter and comfy sofas for your guests to relax and unwind.
