Katrice and James met through her cousin. "That was back in 2013, so we've been together for 10 years now," says Katrice.
“He asked me to be his girlfriend on April Fool’s Day, so many people, including myself, thought he was joking but clearly not!”
"James wanted to visit a mountain with amazing views, so we trekked to the top, and once we got there, James got down on one knee with the whole of Athens behind us. I thought he might propose but didn't want to get my hopes up just in case."
Here the bride shares some of her favourite moments from their big day...
For our favours, we gave our guests pink and white bonbons which we placed in mason jars.
We incorporated eucalyptus into our table plan and place names.
Our centrepieces were flowers from Victoria Arrowsmith Floral Design in different-sized vases.
The Little Sugar Rose created a simple cake with edible flowers and a touch of glitter to match my dress.
About five years ago, someone I know posted on Instagram about renewing their vows at Holkham Hall, so I clicked on the link and was instantly blown away. The more I looked at it, the more I fell in love. Everything I saw was exactly what I wanted, and when I went to see it at a food festival they were hosting, I fell in love with it even more.
Our caterers, Mackenzie-David Events, were fantastic and catered for everyone. James and I chose a dish each and a vegetarian/vegan option.
James opted for a tuxedo with a different shirt and tie to the groomsmen.
The bridesmaids chose sage green dresses with different necklines to match their body type.
I was nervous, but as soon as I saw James, I cried as I had never felt so happy. He also cried, but we had the best day and it went so quickly.
The staff at Holkham Hall made the day extra special, everything went so smoothly, and I didn't have to worry about a thing.
