Beautiful country retreat The Feathered Nest Inn has launched a new cottage to add to its bespoke room collection, giving guests more options for a luxury break in the Cotswolds. The cottage sits within the grounds of the 15th-century inn, located in the pretty village of Nether Westcote – it has stunning views of the Cotswolds countryside.

Known as the ‘Little House’ the cosy cottage combines period charm and modern elegance and includes key original features: flagstone flooring, exposed fire mantle and wooden beams.

The sitting room and modern kitchenette feature a comfy sofa and dining area. On the middle floor is a modern bathroom followed by a luxurious double bedroom on the top floor featuring a super-king size bed.

The Feathered Nest Inn offers outstanding 3AA Rosette cuisine and diners can choose between a gourmet tasting menu and an à la carte menu. Owner, Adam Taylor says, “The new cottage represents the new style of The Feathered Nest, relaxed luxury in the heart of the Cotswolds. We wanted to retain as much of the period charm as possible but also ensure we combined this with a modern understanded style.”

The Cottage is available for stays Thursday to Monday, it is family and dog-friendly. Rates start from £465 per night.
