Mijenta, the award-winning artisanal tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, announces the launch of its Reposado. The second expression from the prestigious hand-crafted, artisanal, sustainable tequila brand, Mijenta Reposado Tequila follows the launch of Mijenta Blanco Tequila in the UK in June 2021.
A super premium, small batch spirit that is carefully crafted with a commitment to environmental sustainability and support for the local community, Mijenta Reposado Tequila is aged up to six months in a blend of American white oak, French oak and French acacia casks. Presenting a more mature and fuller expression with a long finish on the palate, the Reposado possesses a delicate and inviting vanilla nose with notes of bergamot, honey, preserved fruits - such as cherry and pear - and orange blossom flowers, together with a mid-palate of cacao nibs.
As with Mijenta Blanco Tequila, Mexico-based Maestra Tequilera Ana Maria Romero oversaw the entire creation process of the Reposado. From selecting the best agave and bespoke barrels, to ageing and bottling the spirit, Romero sought to celebrate the traditions of Mexican craftsmanship, the best of the land and its people, while allowing the terroir to shine through.

Danish watchmaker Nordgreen has launched its first-ever sustainable watch called the Guardian.
Designed by critically acclaimed designer Jakob Wagner, the ambition for the Guardian was to design a timepiece that will last for 100 years and have minimum impact on the ecosystem of our planet. From recycled stainless steel and longer lasting sapphire glass to a full-service repair and refurbishing program, the Guardian is setting new standards for the watch industry. The unique 3D printed packaging is also made from third-generation recycled PET plastic by Swedish Lostboylab.
