Susan McGregor is a new independent celebrant
Susan McGregor is a new independent celebrant based in Bury St Edmunds but happy to travel across the East Anglian region. She brings a wealth of experience to the role from past professions and from passions outside of work.
"I have qualified as a wedding celebrant through the Academy of Modern Celebrancy and have a listing on their website whilst my own website is being developed," says Susan. "Alongside my role as an independent celebrant I'm also able to support those preparing to deliver speeches or readings on the day of the wedding. I know how much people look forward to hearing great speeches but how utterly nerve wracking it can be for those who aren't practised in the art! I have a teaching qualification in Speech and Drama with the London College of Music, have an English Language and Drama degree and also a masters degree in Secondary Education.
