New attraction for newlyweds-to-be at Norfolk windmill

New attraction for newlyweds-to-be at Norfolk windmill: Image 1

As if a romantic windmill by the sea wasn't enough for wedding wow-factor, the owners of Norfolk's picturesque Cley Windmill Carolyn and Julian Godlee are now adding to its charms!

Both are very much into windmills, Julian's mum and dad used to own Weybourne windmill just up the road, and they've heaped lots of love, and money, into the fabulous old building.

Nestled among the reed beds at Cley-next-the-Sea, it's a labour of love and now the windmill is gaining an extra attraction, The Old Cart Shed – a stunning new room perfect for newlyweds, complete with four-poster bed, vaulted ceiling and wonderfully quirky touches.

The latest addition will bring the total number of rooms up to 10, so the venue can sleep up to 24 people; perfect for cosy intimate weddings.
