Accolades keep coming for Suffolk boutique hotel

Suffolk's Tuddenham Mill, the three-rosette restaurant, boutique hotel and wedding venue has added to its succession of recent accolades.

Located between Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket, the venue has recently been named as one of only a handful of hotels to win the coveted Editor's Choice Award in the 2019 edition of the Good Hotel Guide as well as the Notable Wine List award from the AA for the third year running.

The Good Hotel Guide 2019 is out now and is a well-respected guide for people looking to explore top boutique hotels across the UK. Tuddenham Mill's chef patron Lee Bye, says, “Editor's Choice in the Good Hotel Guide is an amazing honour. I'm so proud of the hard work my team has put in to building Tuddenham Mill's reputation as a destination for discerning travellers and food-lovers.”

He adds, “We've built up a wine list that's a real mix of traditional flavours, and we're not afraid to throw in some modern flourishes. It's a reflection on how we run the hotel and restaurant really, so it's great that we're being recognised for it. After all, the Notable Wine List award is one of the most prestigious in the restaurant industry.”

This is the latest in a string of accolades for Tuddenham Mill with the AA's inspectors giving the hotel 4 AA Silver stars, and the restaurant the coveted three-rosette status.
