With shops in Aldeburgh and Southwold, the specialist cheese retailer and delicatessen offers a range of British and European varieties, not only great for the wedding buffet they create stunning cheese wedding cakes too.

Offering a traditional tiered-tower with a difference, you can put your own special stamp on it with a delicious selection of artisan cheeses to choose from. As well as looking fabulous, a cheese centrepiece is great for when the late-night munchies kick in and the wedding celebration's in full swing.

Driven by a love of the sea and and fine cheese, father and daughter team Clare Jackson and John Ormerod were drawn to the Suffolk coast to launch the business. Clare says, “We work with couples to design a bespoke stack to suit their wedding style, tastes and budget.”

With crackers, fruit cheeses and chutneys available to go with it, newlyweds-to-be can visit one of the Slate shops for a tasting before making their selection. They also offer a set-up service within the Suffolk area to make sure your showstopper arrives, looks and tastes, its big-day best.

Popular decorations include edible flowers, raffia and hessian ribbons, fruit including vibrant pink figs, and for the winter, seasonal berries, purple grapes and greenery.
