Honeymooning in your married name
If you are dreaming of jetting off to sandy shores with your sparkling new ring, spouse and matching...
Rising star in the wedding industry Clare Szabo of River Elliot Bridal in Cambridge has been named 'one to watch' in 2019.
She scooped the accolade in the Four Counties Wedding Awards Best Bridal Dressmaker and Designer Category and is thrilled to be starting out 2019 with the win under her belt. The awards are designed to recognise the hard work and dedication of local wedding suppliers and provide a stamp of excellence in the wedding service sector.
"It's a really wonderful honour to know that you have been recognised and rewarded in your own industry. The bridal and wedding business is a very competitive market with so many new and existing suppliers offering their services to engaged couples. As a hard-working bridal dressmaker in Cambridge, I spend many hours refining my brand and business, working extra hard to ensure that I show current and potential brides how I can help them with their dream wedding dress," says Clare.
"Although I have been sewing and designing clothes for many years, I only launched my bespoke bridal business in Cambridge in early 2017. I have worked extremely hard on both bridal commissions as well as developing my own bridal collection."
Clare is looking forward to seeing her business continue to go from strength to strength and is planning to launch her second bridal collection in 2019.
"I will continue to design and launch a new modern bridal collection that celebrates diversity. It's important to me to ensure I represent all women in my collection, and so I am looking forward to searching for new inspiration and working with real women. I also aim to develop more contacts in ethical fashion. I'm very passionate about the environment and currently I already offer ethical options within my fabric choices. I'd like to find more sustainable suppliers in 2019 so that I can really vary my choices for clients interested in ethical bridal options."
