Friends Danielle Hunter-Dodds and Michelle Lambert have teamed up to realise a shared ambition to own their own wedding shop.
The enterprising duo have taken over the former Harvey's Bridal Boutique in their home town of Ramsey in Cambridgeshire, following the retirement of previous owner Lesley Gibbs. Excited for the year ahead, the pair have been busy redecorating and as well as a fresh look, the boutique now has a new name, Harvey's of Ramsey.
“When we learned that Lesley was selling the business, it was a chance that was too good to turn down,” says Michelle. “She'd matched a lot of women to their dream dresses over the years, including me, and that was something Danielle and I both wanted to do.”
Their personally selected range includes bridal gowns from Ivory and Co, White Rose, Sacha James, Christina Rossi and Emma Bridal as well as bridesmaid dresses from True Bride, Eliza & Ethan and Emma Bridal.
