When Ross Cook was looking for the perfect setting for his fairytale wedding, he fell in love with Ravenwood Hall Hotel in Bury St Edmunds at first sight.
Little did he know then that he'd be returning to the historic venue a few months later as a member of staff. Fast forward and Ross is now head chef at the prestigious hotel and restaurant.
Ross said, “When Laura and I first looked at Ravenwood Hall, we just fell in love with with its character, the amazing grounds and wedding pavilion.” Steeped in tradition, it's an idyllic backdrop for a country-house wedding with parts of the hall dating back to Henry VIII and seven acres of secluded, tranquil gardens in glorious Suffolk countryside.
To see for yourself, Ravenwood Hall is hosting a wedding open day on Sunday 28th April in the beautifully refurbished Edwardian Pavilion, professionally designed by one of Suffolk's leading interior designers. For further details call the wedding team on 01359 270 345
