Let the fun be Gin!

Looking for summer holiday ginspiration? You can now get that festival feeling without the wellies as Festivals of Gin launch across the UK!

a selectin of gin cocktails lined up on a bar Warner Leisure Hotels has curated a series of events at all 14 of its properties across the UK, combining botanicals and live entertainment to give staycationers a gincredible getaway this summer.

The group operates 14 luxury castles, manor houses and seaside getaways across the UK, and is set to bring together up to 30 gins at each of its indoor and outdoor festival bars. With old favourites such as Gordon’s Gin, alongside artisan and craft gins such as Roku Gin from Japan and Brooklyn Gin from USA, the team has scoured the globe to hand pick the best on the market.

The Warner Festivals of Gin promise to be just the tonic for both ginthusiasts and the soon-to-be converted, but fans are being warned to book early as the events have already sold out at some properties.

Each carefully curated tipple will be accompanied by tasting guides packed with tons of ‘ginformation’, as well as vouchers and discounts throughout the festival.

Live music and comedy are also set to return at Warner, with performances every day. A huge variety of acts have been booked for the 25 event series, including Strictly Come Dancing favourites Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag, 80s icon Toyah Wilcox and stage and screen favourite Darren Day.

Simon Thompson, managing director of Warner Leisure Hotels, said: “With the final phase of reopening eagerly anticipated, we’re really looking forward to letting the good times be-gin at our new festivals.

“There is huge appetite for people to enjoy meaningful and relaxing experiences again, and with the continued uncertainty about international travel, we’re looking forward to giving our guests a fun-filled summer in the safety and luxury of our 14 resorts.

“We know that guests have missed a year of their lives and are determined to live 2021 to the full, which is why we’ve made a £3m investment into new spaces for guests to enjoy during our Festivals of Gin, as well as continuing to offering our usual leisure opportunities, such as archery and spa treatments.

“This has been one of the toughest years any of us has experienced, so we’re delighted to be able to whisk guests away from the house they’ve been stuck in and let them enjoy whatever music and comedy they enjoy. Whether that’s Disco, Rock n Roll, 70s celebrations and so much more besides – they definitely deserve it!”
