Arrive at your wedding at Bury St Edmunds Guildhall through the original doorway of Britain’s oldest civic building. Built in 1220 the Guildhall is the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony and reception.
Situated in the historic heart of the Medieval Grid it offers unique spaces for you to create your dream wedding day. You will have exclusive use of the building and our delightful walled gardens giving the ability to have the ceremony, reception and evening party all in one place We cater for up to 80 seated guests for the ceremony and reception and 120 in the evening.
This is a ‘new’ venue having been restored and re-opened in 2018, so many of your guests will not have been here before. You are able to tailor your day so you can have the wedding of your dreams. Our small, friendly and experienced team will be delighted to help you with your plans.
You can choose your own suppliers and there is no corkage charge for providing your own drinks. We can arrange a pay bar if required.
