As the wedding season gets into full swing, here at County Wedding Magazines there’s an excited buzz in the air for all the sunny celebrations to come.
No matter how many weddings we look at (and we’ve seen a few!) no two are ever exactly alike. Every couple brings something fresh and original to their day. The basic recipe may be the same but the end result is never identical.
It’s the personal touches that make all the difference, the little things that reflect you as a couple, your loves, lives and personalities. And we’re here to help, with a cornucopia of ideas and inspiration to help make the most of the time of year. Take your pick of great colour combos for your wedding flowers from soft pastels to hot summer brights (page 67), check out what local suppliers have to say about cool al fresco weddings (page 61) and get set for a riot of lush tropical greenery, sizzling neon and fruity shades this season (page 72).

Bressingham Hall & High Barn
The lovingly renovated High Barn at this magical wedding venue, is set among the world-renowned Bressingham Gardens so it’s a photographer’s dream. With 17 acres of formal gardens, you can take your pick of picture-perfect settings including flint and wooden bridges, a thatched hut in the Dell Garden and water features galore.
The barn itself is a striking modern space with plenty of natural daylight and wow factor. The brick and stone building boasts a vaulted roof, mood lighting and light-oak exposed beams. The sandstone paved courtyard, bordered with colourful flowers, looks a picture lit up at night and provides plenty of space for mixing and mingling.
You can tie the knot in the barn with up to 120 ceremony guests and celebrate afterwards in the Roseanne reception and dining rooms. There’s a chill-out area complete with comfy seating and a marquee-lined dining space for the reception. Oak-crafted details such as rustic hanging light features and a walkway deck echo the feel of the barn. With space for around 150 for the wedding breakfast, guests can enjoy their meal while taking in the panoramic views. During the summer a veranda can also be set up to make the most of the glorious setting. For the evening do, you can party with up to 200 loved ones and there’s exclusive accommodation available on site for up to 20 people within the Grade II listed Bressingham Hall, so you won’t have far to go at the end of the night.
