Since restrictions have eased, the floodgates have opened and 2022 looks set to be one of the busiest years for weddings in decades! With the Christmas and New Year proposal season adding to the surge, we’re looking forward to bringing you lots of lovely local weddings to inspire and excite you in the months ahead. The ripple effects of the pandemic will be felt for some time to come and will continue to influence wedding trends moving forward. Demand for weekday, outdoor and intimate weddings is likely to continue, along with greener more sustainable options for the big day. Many of the important things about getting married have been brought into sharper focus too, like the vows and individual, special details to add that extra personal touch. Couples are looking closer to home for their suppliers bringing extra provenance and local flavour to their celebration and with a wealth of talent in the region, there’s plenty to choose from.
