February/March 2020

Welcome to this edition and a whole new decade! If you started out the year with a sparkly new ring on your finger – congratulations, the journey starts here! With a flood of newly engaged couples following the festive period and Valentine’s Day, love is in the air and there’s a buzz of expectation.

We’re excited for all the fabulous spring and summer weddings to come and although the first green shoots are only just starting to appear, we’re already swooning over gorgeous bridal gowns blooming with pretty floral details (page 79).

Local creatives from around the region have been busy showcasing their talents ahead of peak wedding season to bring you a wealth of inspiration covering everything from the traditional and romantic to the unconventional and alternative including a spellbinding Harry Potter themed photo shoot on page 65.

For all those just embarking on their wedding journey, while the weather’s still chilly outside, now is the perfect time to get cracking with the planning. Doing your homework is vital, so grab your copy of the magazine and cosy up with your other half to check out our venue styling feature on page 59. Don’t miss our go-to guide on how to nail the to-do list on page 69 either and remember to save the details of all your favourite things to create a moodboard or Instagram story. Your suppliers will love you for it, as it makes their job so much easier if they can share your big-day vision.

Happy planning!

Park Farm Hotel

Set in 200 acres of Norfolk countryside, this inviting hotel has the charm of a rural retreat with all mod cons and the attractions of historic Norwich on the doorstep.

A mix of old and new, the original Georgian country house has undergone extensive renovation and redevelopment. Boasting 52 individually designed rooms, there’s plenty of space for friends and family to stay over and relax and unwind or explore the city the next day.

Couples can tie the knot in the light and airy conservatory joined by 100 guests or the Ellingham Suite with up to 60 loved ones. Celebrate afterwards in the spacious and modern Colney Suite leading to the conservatory with its own bar and access to a private lawn. There’s a host of other great features too, including the staircase in the Georgian house, the beautiful landscaped gardens, gazebo, fountain and a wealth of nooks and crannies for album-worthy photos.
