August/September 2020

As I write this, light has started to appear at the end of the tunnel with more and more suppliers opening their doors with safety measures in place. None of us can be sure exactly what the new normal is going to look like in the months ahead but many in the industry have been busy behind the scenes during lockdown sprucing up their venues, studios, salons and boutiques and fine-tuning their businesses ready to hit the ground running.

We’ve been here throughout the journey, staying in touch and keeping everyone updated via our website, social media and e-magazines – free to download during these testing times to help keep you excited for your wedding to come. For your chance to be featured in the magazine, don’t forget to let us know all about your big day. Just enter the details on our website www.youreastanglian.wedding/ get-involved-real-wedding and we’ll be in touch!

This issue there’s plenty to smile about with a showcase of some of the region’s picturesque wedding venues with glorious gardens starting on page 23 and from page 17 we turn the spotlight on Bury St Edmunds to reveal a host of wedding hotspots. For a fun-filled celebration, don’t miss our A to Z guide of wedding entertainment starting on page 53. Whatever your big-day needs, we’ve got it covered with ideas, top tips and advice from local experts on everything from looking your best and bridal beauty to latest bridal fashion, trends and more.

Enjoy reading!

Full of character and charm, the stunning manor is set in nine acres of glorious gardens. With an experienced team on hand to help every step of the way, the versatile venue caters for everything from intimate weddings to grand celebrations with up to 200 guests. Licensed for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, you can be sure of a one-of-a-kind big day. The manor’s mix of history, beauty and eclectic features offers something for everyone.
