Elton Hall
This beautiful stately home is set in its own parkland and provides a wow-factor big-day setting. Parts of the hall date from 1475 and are still standing today. The impressive architecture and sweeping driveway have set the scene for many grand entrances over the years. The romantic Orangery is ideal for intimate weddings. Set within a secluded area of the gardens, honeysuckle-covered walls and lemon trees make the perfect backdrop for a summer wedding.
For grand affairs, the Old Billiard Room oozes character and style with its glass roof, marble fireplace and Old Masters on the walls. Licensed for ceremonies for up to 70 loved ones, it can seat 50 guests for the wedding breakfast or for larger parties, you can have a marquee in front of the hall for up to 500 family and friends.
The grounds provide a wealth of photo opportunities and the perfect place for a relaxed al fresco drinks reception post-vows. Restored by Lady Proby over the last 30 years, features include a sunken lily pond, topiary and shrub garden, parterre and wisteria gravel walk.
